Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

Draft for review. This document describes our intended approach and is not a substitute for legal advice — final wording is pending counsel review.

By using OpenFootlab you agree to these terms. Please read the health notice below carefully.

Not a medical device · not medical advice

OpenFootlab inserts and toe fillers are custom-fit accommodative devices designed to redistribute pressure across the foot. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. The Foot Passport is a record-keeping tool, not a diagnostic service. Nothing here is medical advice. Always talk with your care team about your foot health, and seek professional care for any wound, infection, or change that concerns you.

Your account & your record

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you add to your Foot Passport and for keeping your account secure. Your record is yours; you may export or delete it at any time.

Custom products & orders

Inserts are made to order from your scan and measurements. Because each device is custom-fit to one person, availability, fit, and timelines depend on the information you provide. We'll confirm details with you before production.

Acceptable use

Use OpenFootlab only for your own foot record or for someone in your care with their knowledge. Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or upload content you don't have the right to share.

Limitation of liability

OpenFootlab is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for outcomes arising from use of the platform or devices beyond what applicable law requires. This does not limit any rights you have that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll post the current version here with the date above.
